This project involved a complete renovation to a one-story academic building for The Pathway School in Eagleville, PA. The building was updated to a state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) academic center consisting of 9,018 sqft of classrooms, workshops, restrooms, offices, a media lab, an eSports room, a kitchen, and a cafeteria.

Metal siding and brick laminate were added to the existing brick façade, and the mechanical system was upgraded to a Variable Air Volume (VAV) system. All new VCT flooring was installed in the classrooms, new epoxy flooring was installed in the kitchen, and polished concrete was installed in the cafeteria. All new LED lighting was installed throughout the building.

The updated facility also features a new Pavegen floor system, which converts footsteps into off-grid electrical power—making this STEM facility unique compared to similar facilities throughout the United States.

“Thanks to C. Raymond Davis, The Pathway School has a one-of-a-kind building that has become a model for technology education—a true 21st century building! We could not be more proud of the outcome of this project, and are very happy that we selected C. Raymond Davis to complete the job.”
