Who We Are
C. Raymond Davis & Sons Adirondacks is a branch of C. Raymond Davis & Sons, Inc. (CRD) a family-owned and operated construction manager headquartered in suburban Philadelphia. The company was founded by C. Raymond Davis in 1928, just one year before the Great Depression. In the beginning, C. Raymond focused his efforts on home renovations, additions, and new construction. As time went on, the company's focus broadened to include institutional and commercial construction—a move that would alter the course of the company and change the landscape of the Delaware Valley.
For many years, the Davis family vacationed in the Adirondacks, where they eventually decided to build their dream vacation home. During the construction process, they identified a need for a high-end custom home builder in the area. In July of 2010, CRD established a branch office in Bolton Landing, where it has since constructed numerous high-end homes and developed client relationships that will last a lifetime.
Similar to the company’s evolvement in the Tri-state area, in June of 2015, CRD Adirondacks broke ground on its first commercial project, a 37,500 sqft student life center for Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake. CRD went on to build a 54,000 sqft athletic center for the institute in 2020.

Jim Morgan, Director
As Director of the CRD Adirondacks office, Jim is involved in every stage of our projects, from initial meetings, acquisition, and estimating to managing construction and overseeing move-in. He brings extensive building acumen and management skills to the CRD team, as well as a keen attention to detail and highly responsive client service.
Raised in Newtown, PA, Jim has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State and an MBA from La Salle University in Philadelphia. Prior to joining CRD, he spent 30 years managing construction projects throughout the Northeastern United States. In 2014 Jim relocated with his family to the Adirondacks and built his own dream home.
In his free time, Jim enjoys traveling the U.S. to see the Phillies play in visiting stadiums, as well as spending time outdoors in all four beautiful seasons of the Adirondacks for target shooting, kayaking, snowshoeing, and hiking.
