This project consisted of an addition and renovation for Fairview Village Church of Eagleville, PA. The updated and expanded space now houses a full-service café open to the public and updated facilities for the church’s nursery/daycare program.
Phase I of the project involved constructing a 3,750 sqft addition for the daycare facilities, breakout rooms, and chapel storage, as well as renovating the 2,400 sqft large group meeting room and 4,050 sqft education wing/lobby. Sprinklers were added to the existing chapel and the ground floor of the education wing. Phase II involved converting 4,400 sqft of existing daycare classrooms into the new café and seating area, as well as a variety of finish alterations to the main lobby.
The Village Café features weathered wood finishes, interior brick veneer, and modern light fixtures. Improved flow and additional space for the seating area was created by converting a section of the outdoor courtyard into an interior passageway.
The framing is a combination of structural steel, metal studs, and wood. The new façade consists of brick veneer and stucco, and the roof is a combination of EPDM and polyurethane spray roofing. New LED light fixtures, HVAC units, ductwork, and piping were installed. Flooring throughout is stained concrete flooring, tile carpeting, VCT tile flooring, rubber base, and vinyl stair treads. The interior walls incorporate paint, interior weathered wood, and interior brick veneer.
