Dream | The Preconstruction Phase
Dreaming is your job, listening is ours. Our clients come to us for assistance with turning their ideas into a design that matches their lifestyle needs, land specific requirements, and budget.
As part of the design team, you will work closely with our construction experts and selected architect. Over the years we have developed relationships with qualified design professionals that are equipped to handle any level of project.
At the end of the design/preconstruction phase, you will receive a set of buildable plans and specifications that reflect your vision for your project, as well as a detailed cost estimate that includes our subcontractor/supplier selections and proposals. We provide this estimate in an "open book" format, which allows you to understand exactly where your money is being spent.
Upon your approval, we will customize your building contract, which will include the specific construction details of your home, along with a lump sum figure that locks in your cost. Upon completion of the contract, we will be ready for permitting and groundbreaking.
Build | The Construction Phase
In this phase, we hand-select subcontractors and suppliers to meet the specific requirements of building your home. We consider their ability to provide quality materials and workmanship in a timely manner and for a competitive price. Number of years in business and financial responsibility weighs heavily in this decision process as well.
Once we have a team in place, we will oversee the construction process of your home. We use state-of-the-art construction management software called Procore to keep our clients, suppliers, and subs up-to-date on construction progress.
From the first shovel in the ground to the final finishing touches, we will work hard to ensure you are delighted every step of the way.
Live | The Post Construction Phase
Finally, we move out and you move in!
After your home is complete, you will receive a binder that includes closeout documents, warranty information, service manuals, and subcontractor/supplier contact information.
We will also oversee the warranty process. As you approach the eleventh month of living in your new home, we will return for a walkthrough to determine if anything needs our attention.
